- Surgical treatments: breast-conserving surgery or partial mastectomy, in which the cancerous tumor is removed from the breast. The other is a Mastectomy, in which the surgeon removes the entire breast.
- Chemotherapy: is for patients with metastatic cancer or locally advanced cancer.
- Hormone therapy: can be used to stop or slow the growth or spread of cancer cells.
- Radiation therapy: is used before surgery to shrink the tumor in cases where the tumor is large or difficult to remove surgically.
-Targeted therapy: These drugs are manufactured to turn off the gene called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) for short, and cut off the power of the cancer cells.
